They were horrifically hypnotic to the music of Michael Jackson in Thriller: a Burlesque Horror Story.
They went magnificently mad to the music of Prince in Let’s Go Crazy.
On May 24th, 2015, the casts of these two legendary burlesque shows combined for the ultimate pop royalty showdown! It was the King of Pop versus the Prince. Who did Seattle crown as their favorite? You had to be there to find out!
Eddie Van Glam and Billy Scream emceed this musical grudge match as a bevy of burlesque dancers showcased the best these eighties icons have to offer. Clothes flew! Tassels twirled! And, at the end of the night, the audience chose which artist is Seattle’s ultimate eighties pop idol.

GO MJ!!! err….GO PRINCE!!! err…um…HOW CAN I DECIDE? YOU HAVE TO DO IT FOR ME!!
What a great show!! (Yours always are Lyla and Mister M.) So much talent, energy, and beauty, and great music!!! Everyone was awesome! And I loved the “Thriller” zombie finale!! 🙂
Wondering who REALLY won last night’s vote?
Don’t tell Billy, because we’re sure he’ll gloat, but the winner really was Prince, with 25% more of the vote than MJ!
(But don’t worry, MJ, you’re still #1 in Lyla Dread’s heart.)
Awesome show, super fun! Who was the kick-ass dancer that did an MJ song in the first half of the show? They were dressed in half white / half black/grey . Thanks!
Lady Drew Blood!
aw, thank you so much! It’s always a pleasure to see you, even if I’m usually too distracted with producer duties to say more than a warm hello. 🙂 And yeah, that Thriller finale was so much fun!!
